The CTMS Home Page provides access to user preferences and cross-project activities and displays system-wide information, active projects, and today's tasks for the current user. The projects are displayed on three tabs:
My Projects lists projects whose project type is Production.
My Test Projects lists projects whose project type is Test.
My Recent Projects lists projects whose project type is either Production or Test and displays in descending order based on the last time the user selected the project. The maximum number of projects to appear in this list is set in the Number of Recent Projects configuration variable under the Application configuration group. This tab will be hidden if the Number of Recent Projects per User Configuration variable is set to zero.
Users will be able to view the projects that are active and have a check in the Available to Users check box on the Project tab on the Administration module. System and Project users who have a check in the User can access all Projects check box on the Login module do not need explicit permission for each project; they have access to all projects. Other users must have an active role in the project as either a:
Project Team member
Site Staff member
System Administrators (access with full permission for all projects).

The Today section displays tasks that are due on or before the current date for the current user. The user can check the box to the left of the task to indicate that the task is complete or click the task to edit its information. Below the list of current tasks, a message will display to indicate the number of tasks that are due by the end of the current week not including those listed above the message. Adding and editing tasks is managed in the Project module.

The User hyperlink is the full name of the current user and hyperlinks to the My Settings module, where users can update their contact information, passwords, and preferences. |
The Culture Name Field displays the name of the current user’s browser culture, which is set in the System Configuration module. The name is a combination of an ISO 639 two-letter lowercase culture code associated with a language and an ISO 3166 two-letter uppercase subculture code associated with a country or region. In the example, en stands for English and US stands for the United States.
The visibility of this field will be controlled by value of the Culture Display System Configuration variable under the Application configuration group. If the value is:

Logout |
The Logout hyperlink ends the current session in the application. |
My Favorites |
By clicking Add this page, you can create a list of pages that link to your most commonly used functions and will display on every CTMS web page for easy access. |
Project |
This column displays the name of the project. An icon displays in front of the first column to indicate the status of the current project. = Active = Offline = Read Only
Once the user selects the desired project from the list, the user is brought to the Project Home Page and the project becomes the new current project. |
Description |
This column displays a brief explanation of the project that was entered on the Project tab on the Administration module. |
Phase |
This column displays the Phase of project if one was indicated on the Project tab on the Administration module. The administrator can add Protocol Phases on the System Tables module. |
Stage |
This column displays the Stage of the project on the Project tab on the Administration module. The administrator can add Project Stages on the System Tables module. |
