The Pre-Approval tab indicates whether the deviation is acceptable and the date when this decision was notified to the site. This tab will be hidden if the Enable Protocol Deviation Pre-approval Configuration variable under the Protocol Deviation configuration group is set to false. Other tabs are available to track additional information including Deviation, Corrective Action, Custom Fields (if defined), and Attachments.
