Trial Master Files

This tab lists the Trial Master File (TMF) template that the (1) Document or (2) Document Type is mapped to, whether a user has chosen to override the map, and any comments associated with the mapping. This tab will be visible if the Enable Document Trial Master Files is set to True in the System Configuration , Domain Configuration, or Project Configuration modules under the Document TMF base table.

Another configuration variable, Enable Selection of Unmapped TMF Document Types, is available. When set to False, this variable will prevent users from selecting any Document Type that has not been mapped to the current TMF Template.  This applies only to Project, Country, and Site Documents.  Other documents, such as Attachments, will not be affected.

(1) Document Module

Additional tabs may appear including Custom Fields, Sharing, Upload/Link, and History. Clicking opens the Document TMF module, which allows a user to override the default Trial Master File Template assigned.

Field	Description
TMF Template	This column displays the Trial Master File Template that has been assigned to the Document Type.
Document Type TMF Map
Map	This column indicates if the document has been mapped to the TMF Template.  If the field is blank, then the document has not been mapped.
TMF Location	This column displays where the document is located within the TMF Template.
Override TMF Map
Map	This column indicates if the document has been mapped to a different location from the TMF Template designated.   indicates that the document has been mapped to a different location.
Override TMF Location	This column will state N/A if the Document Type TMF Map has not been overridden, otherwise it will list a new location within the TMF in which this document is stored.
Comment	This column will display any comments entered within Document TMF.

(2) Document Type Module

Additional tabs may appear including Document Tracking and Storage, Project Defaults, and Countries. Clicking opens the TMF Document Type module.
