Projects List

The Projects page lists all the projects that have been created in the system. Users can filter the records on Active, Inactive, or All as well as search for a word or string in the record. Those systems installed with Domain functioning, can search on the Domain name, too. To remove all search options, click the Reset Filters button.

 

The user can add a record by clicking the Add New button for the New Project module to open or edit a record by clicking , which opens the Project module.

 

Click Project is Closed for recommendations on the steps to take within CTMS when the project has closed.

 

Most columns can be sorted in ascending or descending order by clicking the column heading.

 

Click Common Buttons for a description of the buttons found throughout the system and their uses.

 

 

 

Field

Description

Project Name

When visible, the SQL database project name will be displayed. If the Include Domain Prefix in Project Name check box is checked, then the Domain name prefix will appear in front of the project name.

STATUS

 

Status

This column will display either Active or Read Only.  

Available

A check indicates that users can access the project. No check means that the project has been taken offline. When a project is complete, you can make the project unavailable so that data is not changed. Projects are not removed from the system, but can be considered "archived."

LICENSE

 

CTMS

This column will display either None, Named Users Only, or Named Users and Project Users as selected in the CTMS field of the Project module.

EDC

This column will display either None, Named Users Only, or Named Users and Project Users as selected in the EDC field of the Project module.

IWRS

This column will display either None or Named Users and Project Users as selected in the IWRS field of the Project module.

DATABASE

 

Version

This column displays the version number of the database. An icon will display to the left of the version number to indicate the database is current or not current.

= The database version is not current

= The database has not been created

DATA RANGE

 

Start Date

This column displays the date that the project started as entered in the From Date field of the Project module.

End Date

This column displays the date that the project has ended or is about to end as entered in the Thru Date field of the Project module.

PROTOCOL

 

Protocol Number

This column displays the number that was entered in the Protocol Number field of the Protocol module.

Project Group

This column displays the text that was selected in the Project Group field of the Protocol module. If additional groups are needed, they can be added in the Project Groups System Table.

Test Article

This column displays the text that was selected in the Test Article field of the Protocol module. If additional items are needed, they can be added in the Test Articles System Table.

Stage

This column displays the stage that the project is in: Analysis, Complete, Data Management, Planning, Regulatory, Reporting, Startup, or Study Conduct. If additional statuses are needed, they can be added in the Project Stages System Table. This information is brought forward from the Protocol module.
