Project Task

The Project Task module provides a place to enter or edit the assignment and indicate the dates that it is relevant, and designate its importance. The project Alerts that are visible in the upper right hand corner of the Project, Country, Sites, Enrollment, and Finance tabs will indicate the number of messages and tasks that are active.

Field

Description

Due Date

The user enters or selects the date that the task is expected to be completed. The field is required and can accept future dates.

Task

The user enters a brief description of the task in up to 50 characters. The field is required.

Comment

The user enters more information about the task in up to 200 characters. The field is required.

Completed

The user enters a check in the box indicating that the task has been completed. After saving and then returning to the task, the Completed Task field will appear with the date and time visible from when the check was placed in the box.

Completed Date

This field is read only and hidden when adding a new task or for an incomplete task.
