Instruction on How to Manage the Project, Country and Site Events Pages

A common question asked is: "How do I add or remove events from the Project Events, Country Events and Site Events pages.

 

Remove Event from Future Projects

  1. On the Administration tab, System Tables menu item, click the pencil icon to edit the Project Event Types record.

  2. Next, click the pencil icon to edit the event record and the Project Event Type module will open.

  3. Click the Usage tab.

  4. Remove the checks from the Include in Project Events, Include in Country Events, or Include in Site Events, depending on your need.

  5. Click Save. Future projects will not have this event. See next step to remove from Current Project

 

Remove Event from Current Project

  1. Depending on your need, click either the Project, Country, or Sites tab.

  2. Click the pencil icon to edit the event record. The Project Event Type module opens.

  3. Click Inactivate..

  4. Click Save.

 

Add Event to Future Projects

  1. On the Administration tab, System Tables menu item, click the pencil icon to edit the Project Event Types record.

  2. Click the Add New button to open the Project Event Type module.

  3. Enter the required fields (*) and click Save.

  4. Click the Usage tab and place checks in the Include in Project Events, Include in Country Events, or Include in Site Events, depending on your need.

  5. Click Save. If a check was placed in the include boxes, future projects will have this event automatically. You can add these events to current and future projects. See next step.

 

Add Event to Current Project

  1. Depending on your need, click either the Project, Country, or Sites tab.

  2. Click the Add New button to open the Project Event, Country Event, or Site Event module respectively.

  3. Enter the required fields (*) and click Save.

  4. Click Save again for the item to appear under the Event Group that you selected.

 

Reorder Items

You can reorder items within an Event Group by using the last column titled Reorder. The Reset Order button will reorder the records based on the order that they are in on the Project Event Types page on the Administration tab, System Tables menu item. You can reorder the items within the System Tables as well by using the Reorder column buttons.
