Domain Configuration

The Domain Configuration tab allows the administrator the ability to view and edit a single Domain Configuration record, such as the Enable Document Trial Master Files record under the Document TMF Configuration Group shown below.

 

Domain Configuration variables impact all projects within the domain.

 

To change the default, place a check in the Override box and either select an override value, as in the example below, or enter a value for those options that allow it. If this variable is not visible, it may be dependent on another variable. You can check the dependencies on the Dependencies tab. A list of dependent variables can be found in this PDF document.

Field

Description

Domain

This field is read only and displays the item that was selected in the previous screen, Domain Configuration List.

Configuration Group

This field is read only and displays the item that was selected in the previous screen, Domain Configuration List.

Name

This field is read only and displays the name of the item within the Configuration Group selected.

Override

If the user places a check in the Override box, then the Override Value will display.

Inherited Value

This field is read only and displays the default value or a value that had been selected from a higher level.

Override Value

This field will be hidden if the Override field is unchecked. Its format will vary depending on the specific Configuration variable. The available field types are:

  • Date

  • Dropdown List (choices will vary depending on the specific Configuration variable)

  • Checkbox List (choices will vary depending on the specific Configuration variable)

  • Number

  • Text

  • True or false
