Detail Type

The purpose of the Detail Type module is to provide the ability to view and edit a single Communication Type record.

 

Clicking returns you to the Communication Types page.

Field

Description

 Category

This field is required and will be read only when editing an existing record. The choices include Address, Phone, Fax, or Email.

Name

This field is required and can hold up to 25 characters to describe this type of communication vehicle. For instance, if this is a phone communication record and you want to indicate that this is the phone in the parking lot, you may enter "Parking Lot" and this will appear on the Phone tab of either the Global Contact or Global Institution module or both depending on the checks entered in the boxes below.

Include in Global Contact

A check in this box will add this communication type in the Global Contact module.

Include in Global Institution

A check in this box will add this communication type in the Global Institution module.
