Project Configuration List

The Project Configuration page is available on both the Administration and Project tabs. It inherits the settings of the higher level, which is the Domain Configuration or the System Configuration settings. If your system does not have a Domain feature, then the Project settings will be inherited from the System Configuration settings. Changing a higher level configuration variable, such as System, will change the lower level variables (Domain and Project) unless these lower levels have an overridden value.

The administrator can change the domain or system settings and set up the project for the project's needs in the following tables:

Culture

Finance and Budgets

SharePoint Settings

Subject Consent

Data import

Site

Subject Visits

Document TMF

Project Country

If you are on the Administration tab and need to make a change to the settings, first use the Project drop down list to select the appropriate project and then use the Configuration Group drop down list to select the appropriate table. Click next to an Active or Disabled variable to open the Project Configuration module.

The Disabled variable can be activated by overriding the value of the dependent variable. For instance, in the image below, the Document TMF table has a disabled variable called TMF for Country Documents. By clicking next to the disabled variable, the Project Configuration module will open. You will click the Dependencies tab and see that this variable is dependent on the Enable Document Trial Master Files variable to be set to True. Therefore, to enable TMF for Country Documents variable, you must first override the Enable Document Trial Master Files variable setting to True.

Columns can be sorted  in ascending or descending order by clicking the column heading.

Click Common Buttons for a description of the buttons found throughout the system and their uses.
